The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Haywards Heath Airport Taxi. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
The terms “Haywards Heath Airport Taxi,” “we,” or “us” refer to the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” apply to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2.1 Ensure adequate time is allocated for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in times. We are not liable for delays caused by your failure to allocate sufficient time or readiness for collection at the scheduled time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to request a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the accommodation of excess luggage. Children, regardless of age, are considered single passengers.
2.3 Wheelchair access requests should be communicated at the time of booking.
3.1 Our quotation is based on information provided by you, excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust the quote for significant itinerary changes.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period and airport parking costs. Any waiting time beyond this will be charged at our standard waiting rate.
3.3 Upon quote acceptance, review the booking confirmation for accuracy. We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from unreported mistakes.
3.4 Payment methods accepted include cash, credit card, or debit card.
4.1 You are accountable for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We adhere to licensing or insurance passenger limits.
5.1 Notify us as soon as possible for cancellations. Post-dispatch cancellations incur charges based on the driver’s time and distance to the cancellation point.
5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.
6.1 We strive to ensure timely arrivals, but we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We disclaim responsibility for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a breakdown, we aim to provide an alternative vehicle promptly.
6.4 You shall not hold Haywards Heath Airport Taxi liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any omission or act by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any risk is posed to a vehicle or driver. No refunds for terminated journeys.
8.1 We may subcontract obligations. You cannot assign or transfer obligations or rights under this agreement.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Haywards Heath Airport Taxi; check regularly for updates. Existing bookings are honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Data is stored and processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Haywards Heath Airport Taxi and yourself.
8.5 No third party has rights unless agreed upon in writing.
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date; claims after this timeframe are not entertained by Haywards Heath Airport Taxi.
